Education Partners
To further our work, A+ College Ready has partnered with organizations sharing our committment to increase student participation in AP courses and improve performance on AP exams. Working colaboratively, we provide valuable professional development for our teachers and access to rigourous coursework for our students which will prepare them to succeed in college and the global workforce.
The A+ Education Partnership works as an independent statewide organization to shape policy, improve teaching and learning, and engage communities in ongoing conversations about the best ways to create great schools for every child and build a bright future for Alabama. www.aplusala.org
The National Math and Science Initiative, Inc. (NMSI) was formed following a report issued in 2005 by the National Academies entitled "Rising Above the Gathering Storm." The title aptly reflects the urgency of the problem and the need for a solution. NMSI was created to implement the recommendations of the report, which calls for dramatically improving K-12 math and science education. NMSI functions as a strategic holding company, bringing proven operating and scale-up capabilities to help grantees replicate effective educational programs to improve American competitiveness, including training and incentive programs for AP and pre-AP courses. www.nationalmathandscience.org
